Turnberry Elementary School found out Friday that first-grade teacher Sarah Holliday has been nominated as the 97.3 KBCO Teacher of the Year. She was nominated by the parent of a student in her class. As one of four finalists, Sarah wins a free iPad and is entered into the competition for a CSU-Global Campus Scholarship for a Masters of Science in Teaching and Learning (free tuition for a master’s degree). Sarah will be interviewed live on air at 7:40 a.m., Monday on KBCO. The four finalists are being announced weekly throughout the month of May. Congratulations, Sarah.
