I am excited to be back with my Turnberry family for another school year. After teaching kindergarten the last 4 years and spending 6 years in a kindergarten enrichment program previous to teaching, I have developed a real passion for kindergarten. Their smiles and excitement to learn motivate me to be a better teacher every day.  My favorite part of being at Turnberry is the hugs and updates from my former students and families!

Outside of the classroom: I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and my dog, Lucy. I also enjoy cooking, antiquing and exploring this beautiful state of ours!

I am very excited to begin my second year of teaching kindergarten at Turnberry Elementary.  I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in elementary school and I grew up learning from the great teachers in my life.  I love to have a lot of fun and enjoy humor in the classroom.  I am so excited for you to get to see how amazing these young minds are, and what they are capable of.  This will be my fourth year teaching kindergarten and my experience also includes second and third grade.

Outside of the classroom:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and two young sons.  We love to play outside, go to the movies, and go camping.

I am so excited to begin my second year teaching FULL day kindergarten. I was amazed at the growth I saw in last year’s students and I am excited to see what this year’s kids can do! I have loved every second of the five years I have spent here at Turnberry and I have a deep sense of pride in the community we have established here. I enjoy the relationships I have built with students and their families in this community and treasure the trust that has been placed in me to educate these learners!
My Heart Outside classroom: Spending time with my family, especially with my niece (17) and nephews (18, 8, 4); reading; scrapbooking; painting; traveling; spending time with friends

I am so excited to be a part of the Turnberry Family! My family and I just moved to Colorado over the summer and we are so excited to be here! Thank you for letting me be a part of your child's educational career. I am so glad that I get to teach Kindergarten. I hope to get my students excited about learning, so they become independent learners on their own! Let's have a great year!
My Heart Outside classroom: I love spending time with my husband and 2 kids. We are off to football and cheerleading most weeks! We are also enjoying traveling and learning about Colorado. I am very excited to bake in the fall and hopefully get on the mountain to snowboard this winter!
