Undergraduate Degree: BA from Cal Sate Long Beach in Speech Communication 1995, Psychology Minor. Also Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from Chapman University 2003.
I am honored to be a member of Turnberry Elementary since our inaugural year of 2008. I have taught 4th grade ever since. Being an Educator is actually my second career but I can not imagine doing anything else with my talents. I wake up daily looking forward to the challenge and reward of educating today's youth and helping them realize their maximum potentials.
My life outside the classroom: Includes spending quality time with my family, doing outdoor activities such as: camping, running, and hiking. I enjoy reading when I have quiet time. I love sports and playing poker in my leisure time.

I am starting my 18th year in education and my 5th year at Turnberry Elementary. I love working with 4th grade students and the members of my team. I am excited to start another year and provide the best learning opportunities I can for my students. My goal is for every student to experience success.
My heart outside of the classroom includes: Loving to travel, camp, and spend time with my family (especially my granddaughter), and playing with my dog.

I am extremely excited and motivated to start my second year at Turnberry. The opportunity to help learners apply classroom concepts to real life situations will forever be a passion of mine.
My heart outside of the classroom: Spending time with my wife and kids supersedes all else! While I have a new found respect for running, my PS3, playing basketball and reading will always be my choice of "ME" time!!
